Well, we have started our schooling this week.. sort of.
We were due to start last week but the books (which we order from America) were accidentally sent to South Africa!
So, though it is only the readers and math we are waiting on, it doesn't quite feel like the start of the year I was hoping for!
Considering this year I am trying my hardest to be the organised homeschooling mother!
Well... one day down... zillions to go!

We centre what we do around a chosen topic for the term and usually end up doing a lapbook by the end of the term.

We've started doing India - got all the junior non-fiction books we could find or reserve on India from the public library. Plus some recipe and picture books from the adult section.
